Marketing Automation Specialist in Sittard

As a Marketing Automation Specialist at Boels Rental, you ensure that our customers receive exactly the right message, at exactly the right time often before they even realize they need it.

You’ll be joining our Central Marketing team, currently consisting of four professionals specializing in campaigns, advertising (including SEO/SEA) and marketing automation (e.g., email workflows and customer journey automation). With your experience in marketing automation tools and your passion for data, you’ll design and scale automated email- and marketing initiatives. From hands-on execution (e.g., email setup and deployment) to more tactical and strategic applications of marketing automation (e.g., journey orchestration, segmentation strategies, and long-term vision development).Working with international colleagues, you’ll deliver primarily B2B campaigns that boost satisfaction, drive leads, and contribute directly to our profitable growth.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and build personalized, behavior-driven email campaigns.
• Collaborating across Europe to strategically deploy marketing automation.
• Monitoring performance and optimizing campaigns using real-time insights and A/B testing based on concrete KPIs (e.g., open rate, CTR, conversion rate).
• Leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar) to scale automation efforts.
• Driving traffic, generating leads, and increasing direct revenue through digital channels.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven expertise with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a pré.
• Experience with Agile ways of working (Scrum or SAFe is a plus).
• A strategic thinker with strong execution skills and an analytical mindset, skilled in data interpretation and visualization, with a strong focus on results.
• Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written. Knowledge on the Dutch language is a plus.
