The company was founded by Dr. Guus Simons, whose extensive professional background includes an eleven-year tenure at KeyGene in Wageningen, The Netherlands, where he served in roles such as project manager and business manager. Prior to that, he spent nine years as a project leader at the Netherlands Institute for Dairy Research (NIZO).
Dr. Simons completed a post-doctoral period at the University of Ghent, Belgium, following the successful attainment of his PhD in molecular biology from the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His illustrious career is further underscored by his contributions to academia, having authored more than 75 peer-reviewed papers and filed 15 patent applications.
