Within the Legal Department
The Senior Legal Officer is part of the legal and compliance team. This team plays a leading role in providing the company with strategic legal advice on all business aspects. Additionally, the team drives the implementation of compliance measures within daily CAC business activities and establishes a local compliance framework to ensure business continuity and adherence to applicable legal regulations.
This senior role within the team represents the Legal Department on various legal issues, including privacy, data protection, and information security. The Senior Legal Officer plays an essential role in implementing related strategies and processes within the organization.
Key tasks include acting as a compliance specialist (e.g., antitrust, sanction compliance, social compliance, AML, and CTF) and providing input on related requirements for global business initiatives, projects, and programs. The Senior Legal Officer will manage a wide range of stakeholders within the MBCAC, the Mercedes-Benz organization, and involved third parties.
