Category Manager Indirect Procurement in Sittard

As a Category Manager Indirect Procurement, you are responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for various categories such as Facilities, Spare Parts, and Transport/Logistics. You manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the optimal delivery of goods and services. You work closely with stakeholders across the organization and play a key role in achieving cost savings and quality improvements—all within the international markets of Boels!

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing procurement category strategies that meet internal customer needs and optimize costs;
• Identifying synergies and cost/ quality improvement projects across the worldwide Boels Rental Group and driving these initiatives from beginning till end;
• Category procurement based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO);
• Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations;
• Collaborating and aligning with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Analyzing markets and data to support strategic procurement decisions.

A gross monthly salary between €3,761 and €5,373 based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on your experience;

What you bring:

• A completed Master's degree or alternatively bachelor’s degree, preferably in business economics, supply chain management or business administration;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role within an international environment;
• Strong proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of German and French is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills, commercial insight, and negotiation skills;
• The ability to work independently and excellent stakeholder management skills.
