As an Account Manager you will be responsible for independently managing and expanding customer relationships within the Italian market. You will generate revenue through effective relationship management and by acquiring new customers (new business). Additionally, you will advise on our (new) products and play a crucial role in discovering and developing market opportunities. You will actively focus on upsell and cross-selling opportunities to achieve commercial targets.
You will be responsible for the Ethnic sales channel. Through this channel, we serve ethnic supermarkets and wholesalers.
Relationship Management: Proactively manage and expand existing customer relationships within our ethnic sales channel.
Identify Opportunities: Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.
Provide Advice: Advise customers on our product range and offer tailored solutions.
Market Research: Actively monitor market trends and translate customer needs into commercial opportunities.
Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing and purchasing to efficiently address customer inquiries.
Deliver Presentations: Conduct product presentations to engage and inform customers about our offerings.
Planning and Administration: Independently manage your own planning and administrative tasks.
Reporting: Report to the Sales Manager and contribute to the sales strategy.
To be successful in this role, it is essential to have an affinity for Asian culture, as many of our customers have an Asian background. You should possess a proactive attitude, analytical thinking skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities independently. Additionally, you have a strong competitive mindset and are commercially driven.
